Scope of Work
Project consisted of a Base Bid as well as Options 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 & 7, for street and landscaping improvements along Founders/Walter Jones Blvd; Butterfield Trail Blvd; Leigh Fisher Blvd; Spur Blvd; Zane Grey Blvd; Concord St; Celerity Wagon St; Butterfield Circle. These improvements included but were not limited to: removal, reuse and/or off-site disposal of asphaltic concrete pavement and base course; excavation for new pavement, removal of existing concrete driveways, removal of existing concrete flumes; controlled removal/salvaging of existing landscaping; site clearing and grading; implementation of trench safety system; preparation of roadway subgrade; new concrete curb and gutter; new rock mulch trails; new concrete driveways; new ADA compliant accessible ramps; new sidewalks; removal and replacement of guard posts; new roundabouts; Continuously Reinforced Concrete Pavement (CRCP); Asphalt Pavement; cement treated base course; geo-grid material; new base course; structural fill; pavement replacement; new concrete bus pads; pavement striping; removal, replacement and salvaging of signage; new landscaping and planting; improvement of irrigation system; implementation of traffic control plan; new city monuments; implementation of storm water pollution prevention plan.
