Paso del Norte Materials has its own in-house testing laboratory. This service enables us to ensure that our aggregates meet ASTM and TxDOT specifications, and our concrete meets or exceeds strength requirements.
Aggregates
Sampled during production to ensure materials meet ASTM C33 or TxDOT specifications. Every six months materials are sampled by our staff and TxDOT inspectors to run physical properties of materials. You can find the results at: txdot.gov/business/resources/materials producer list.
Concrete
Trial batches are performed by our staff and TxDOT to approve designs. Samples of concrete are obtained daily to ensure concrete strength is being achieved or exceeded.
